Carlos Alcaraz becomes the youngest ever champion of the Miami Open.
He beat Casper Ruud in the final of the ATP 1000 level tournament.
The match started with Ruud on the front foot winning the first three games but, Alcaraz came back into the match with a bang.
He won the first set coming from a 3-0 deficit.
The scoreline was 7-5 to the Spaniard.
The 18 year old then picked up from where he left the first set and won the first first 3 games of the second set.
Ruud tried to come back into the game and broke Alcaraz.
But, Alcaraz was on another level as he didn’t give Ruud any chance to bounce back.
Alcaraz won the match 7-5, 6-4.
Alcaraz has been in a great form this season and this surely marks the rise of a new sensation.
Alcaraz is also Spanish like his idol Rafa Nadal.
