Chelsea beat Luton Town 3-2 in the FA Cup tie as Lukaku nets. Chelsea are now thought to the quarter finals of FA Cup.

Chelsea started the game with a 3-4-3 formation with Lukaku, Werner and Mount in front.Saul and Jorginho played in middle.

Hudson Odoi and Kennedy started as wing backs with Sarr, Loftus Cheek and Rudiger as centre halves.

Luton Town surprisingly scored in the 2nd minute of the game.Burke scored the goal.Saul equalised for Chelsea in the 27th minute by an assist from Werner.

Cornick scored in the 40th minute for Luton Town and they ended the half strongly.

In the second half Timo Werner scored in the 68th minute from an assist by Loftus Cheek.

Lukaku also found the back of the net in the 78th minute with Werner getting the assist.

Chelsea had about 76% of ball possession and completely ran the pace of the game.They also had 17 shots on goal.


After the disappointing final of the Carabao Cup against Liverpool, this victory might boost their confidence.

Now, Blues are into the last 8 of the FA Cup and can win it if they show more intent.

Chelsea are 3rd on the Premier league table and are leading their tie against Lille in UCL.
