India(U19) team beat Australian(U19) team by 96 runs in the 2nd semi final of the U19 Cricket World Cup. The match took place at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
India batting first made 290/5 with Captain Yash Dhull scoring a wonderful captain’s knock (110) and vice captain Shaik Rasheed hitting 94.
Together they contributed for a 204 run partnership and helped the team recover from 37 for 2 and reach 290 for 5 at the innings break.
Australia in response made a total of 194 runs (Corey Miller 38 and Shaw 51) .
Indian spinners ran the show as Australia went from 71/1 to 125/7.Vicky Ostwald bagged 3 wickets for 42 runs and Nishant Sindhu also contributed with his 2 wickets.
Now India will face England in the final of the U19 Cricket World Cup . England defeated Afghanistan in the first semi final.
The final will be played on Saturday.
