PAK vs AUS : Second Test ended in a draw.


PAK vs Aus second test match has ended in a draw.As Australia were unable to end PAK innings on the last day.

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first at Karachi Stadium.

Aussies had a really good first inning with Khawaja scoring a wonderful 160 runs, hitting 15 fours and a six.

Steve Smith also, scored 72 runs and Keeper Carey got himself a 93.

Australia scored 556 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the first inning.

Pakistan came to bat and we’re literally abysmal as they were bowled out for 148 runs only.

None of the batters were able to click. Starc bagged 3 wickets with Swepson getting 2.

But, very strangely Aussies didn’t make PAK to follow-on and came to bat themselves.

Aussies again very surprisingly declared for only 97 runs and gave a mammoth target to Pakistan with nearly two day to spare.

Pakistan came in to bat and Babar Azam showed why he is considered one of the best players of the modern generation.

He scored 196 runs hitting 21 fours and a six.Shafique also scored 96 runs.

In the middle order Rizwan smashed 106 runs and was looking very promising.


At one point, it seemed that PAK could turn the game around.

But, fall of some quick wickets changed their fate again.

But,in the end Aussies were unable to take the remaining 3 wickets and the match ended in a draw.

Babar Azam was awarded with player of the match for his inspiring 196 run inning.

Now,both the matches have resulted in a draw and the outcome of the series will depend upon the last test match.

Pat Cummins wil surely think about his in game decisions which might have influenced the outcome of the game.

Whereas,Pakistan came back from a very bad first inning performance and showed a great intent and intensity in the second one.
