The quarterfinals of the Indian Well ATP 1000 level tournament are done and Rublev vs Fritz is set to be the 2nd semi final.

Nadal will face fellow Spaniard Alcaraz in the first semi final.
Rublev won his tie against Dimitrov and Fritz squeezed past Kecmanovic to set up the semis tie.
Rublev beat Dimitrov
Dubai open champion Rublev won against Dimitrov in straight sets.
Both,the players played very well in the first set with Rublev winning it 7-5.



But,in the second set Rublev seemed more confident and settled as he one sidedly beat Dimitrov by 6-2.
Rublev has now an unbeaten run of 13 matches and is a serious contender for the tournament.
Fritz beat Kecmanovic
Fritz kept the American hope alive as he beat Serbian Kecmanovic.
The match was settled in third set.
First set went till tie breaker in which Fritz came out on top.



Kecmanovic bounced back in the second set and won it 6-3.
Third set was all to play for, but the Serbian crumbled and only won 1 game.
As a result Fritz won the set 6-1.
Semi finals : Rublev vs Fritz, Nadal vs Alcaraz.
Now, Fritz will face Rublev in the semi final and both the players would hope to win it.
Rublev would like to extend his unbeaten run and Fritz has all the hope of America on his shoulders.
Both the players have met 4 times till now with each of them winning twice.
So, the fixture is going to be an exciting one.
